This collection constitutes, today, a work of reference in the fields concerned. Several artists present in this collection discovered or were encouraged by the greatest Indian personnalities, like Indira Gandhi, J. Swaminathan and Baskar Kulkarni. These “Other Masters”, title of an exhibiton organized by Jyotindra Jain, definitively form part of the Indian art history.
